The District of Peachland has announced a water main break is currently affecting water service.
The areas affected are:
Somerset Ave
MacGregor Rd
Columbia Ave
Hackett Rd
Lakeview Ave
Beach Ave (South)
Highway 97 (near Princeton Ave intersection)
Crews are onsite working on repairs on at Minto Street, said Peachland engineering technologist Mirjam Glass. Those affected may experience a decreased water pressure in their taps, or no water at all, she said.
The water is safe to drink, said Glass. The cause of the break is still unknown.
Estimated outage times are currently not available, according to a District of Peachland Operations Department Facebook post.
