UPDATE: 9 a.m. April 22
The wildfire that sparked Sunday evening near Nashwito Road outside of Vernon, is now under control.
The blaze grew to .009 hectares and is believed to be human-caused. There were no evacuation orders or alerts associated with this incident.

A wildfire has ignited on the west side of Okanagan Lake, west of Vernon, BC Wildfire Service reports.
The wildfire was discovered at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 21, and is spot sized. It is listed as out of control.
Its location is listed on the BC Wildfire dashboard as Nashwito Road, off Westside Road.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
A power outage affecting less than five homes is in the area of the fire. BC Hydro lists fire as the cause of the outage. Crews are on site.
