ALWINA MARGARET KITSCH 1915 – 2009

Passed away on November 15, 2009. Alwina was born in MacNutt, Saskatchewan and relocated to the Okanagan with her family where she attended school in Rutland. She had a career with the Federal Government in various

locations, Whitehorse, Williams Lake, Princeton and Vancouver and retired back to Kelowna in 1982. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and her music. She will be greatly missed by her lifelong friends Dorothy Dohan,

Gerry Strother, Kay & Gerald Geen, Jim Gray & Claudia Kargl, Colleen & Floyd Harder and Jack Freeman. Survived also by her niece Sharon Planden (Ken) and numerous other nieces and nephews as well as long time friend Peggy Cousins. Predeceased by her brothers Fred, Rudy, Andy and sister Laura. Special Thanks to Dr. M. Bobyn and to the staff at Comfort Living, her home for the past five years.

A tea to remember Alwina’s life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave. on November 26th at 1:30p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alwina’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
