Over 25 years of teaching drama, video, english and creative writing at Springvalley, Dr. Knox and KSS, Anne-Marie Holmwood has profoundly influenced the lives of many of her students. She earned degrees from Calgary, Dalhousie and UBC as well as attending UVic and Laval. Anne- Marie started directing plays as a student in high school, continued at University of Calgary, and throughout her teaching career. Before becoming a teacher, she worked several seasons for Sunshine Theatre and did television work in Kelowna and Halifax. Her wit and insight will be greatly missed by her mother Lou, her husband Michael, her daughter Willa, her friends and colleagues, and her many hundreds of students. We’ll be telling stories, reading poems and playing music for her on Sunday November 20th at 2pm at Benvoulin Church.
