ADAMS, Mary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Adams. Mary passed away August 16, 2017 in Kelowna.
She is survived by son Lorne, daughters Sharon and Mardell, sister Sonja, brothers Jerry and Johnny, grandchildren, Madison, Wayne, Troy and Justin.
She is predeceased by sons Steven and Kelly, and husband Wayne.
Mary was born September 21, 1938 in Canora, Saskatchewan to parents Mary and Bill Saliken. She grew up in in Nelson and Castlegar; spending some years in Kelowna before moving to Vancouver in the late 60's to raise her family with her husband Wayne. Mary loved to socialize. She also loved dancing and listening to country music, but most of all she loved her children.
Mary and Wayne moved to Kelowna after retirement in 2007. She loved the Okanagan, and spent her retirement years close to her mother and siblings.
A private service will be held for close friends and family on Sunday, September 3, 2017. Major Jolie Boyarski will be officiating the service.
