SCHERUBL, Mary
Passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016 at Kelowna General Hospital surrounded by her family. Mary lived in Kelowna for the past 51 years. She immigrated from Austria with son Franz in 1958 to Elsa, Yukon, where daughter Gabriele was born. The family moved to Kelowna in 1965 where she put her green thumb to work cultivating vegetable and flower gardens and fruit trees. Predeceased by her loving husband Frank of 43 years; brother Karl and wife Thea in Germany; and granddaughter Lacy Ann in Canada. Survived by son Franz (Meriel) and daughter Gabriele (Dan); grandchildren Danielle , Samantha, Joe and Hunter; younger brothers Franz( Erika) and Willi (Inge) and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends in Canada, Austria and Germany. No service by request. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
