In Loving Memory ~

Ray Trudeau passed away on March 5, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He cherished his role as a loving partner to Valerie and held significant roles as a son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

Ray shared an inseparable bond with Val, engaging in shared interests such as sports, particularly baseball and golf. Their life together was enriched with cooking experiments, travel adventures, beach picnics, golf outings, sports watching, and cherished date nights every weekend.

Ray also enjoyed socializing with his buddies, often participating in bowling and golf activities. Not only that, he loved to play cribbage and cherished the joy of lively games with his buddies, but nothing could compare to the warmth he felt during his birthday surprise dinner, lovingly hosted by Valerie and surrounded by dear friends and family. Val remained faithfully by his side until the end.

Preceded in death by his mother Lillian; his father, Lucien; his son, Shawn; and his brother, Bernie; Ray is survived by his fiancée, Val; daughter Janine; brothers Paul, Vic, Mark, and Eddie; and sister Lorraine.

He will be deeply missed by Valerie, his family, numerous friends, and colleagues.

Ray held strong Christian beliefs and expressed a desire to reunite with God, a sentiment he shared with nursing staff, his doctor, Valerie, Janine, and close friends. Celebration of Life, with Pastor Keith officiating, will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm (PDT), at Mission Creek Alliance Church: 2091 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
