Passed away on July 7, 2017 with his loving wife Betty Jong at his side at the age of 52. Steven is survived by his mother Marjorie D’Andrea of Parksville; sons Devon (Jessica) of Grand Cayman and Dallas and stepson Brandon, both of Vancouver; sisters Sheryl (Jason) Low of Parksville, Shelly D’Andrea (Mike Roberts) of Errington and Marilyn (Ken) Haaf of Port Moody; mother-in-law Mary Fairley; sisters-in-law Donna Hikichi, Linda (Larry) Tanaka and Bonnie MacDonald, all of Kelowna; brothers-in-law Grant Fairley of Edmonton and David Fairley of Tuscon, Arizona; and too many nieces and nephews to mention, but all very well loved. He is predeceased by his father Giovanni D’Andrea (November 1972), his brother Robert Beaudoin (November 2006) and his brother-in-law Dan Hikichi (June 2016). At a young age, Steven volunteered at the Parksville Fire Department. He learned the craft of machining in Alberta and brought it back to BC. Steven was a family man who would step up with no questions asked. He had a love of hockey, even from a very young age, right until the end. He tried to fish and hunt, but with no success. He did however love the outdoors, either being out in the back country or in the water. The “Steve-apedia” was often called upon for unwanted answers. A special thanks to the many family/friends, the ICU Team and Dr. Bruce. You did everything. Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna.
