Wayne Beck, at 63 years of age, passed away in the early hours of Saturday July 30. A beloved father, he was known for his obsessive love of geology, and for being a true mountain man. He will always be remembered for his great love of the BC wilderness, happier in the woods than in the city any day. He was able to live out his last years doing what he loved: rock hunting, camping, and fishing. His family and friends count themselves lucky to have had him in their lives. A true character, who is greatly loved, and will be even more greatly missed.
