Wendy Edith SINCLAIR-THOMSON,

Wendy passed away on October 21, 2008 at the age of 59 after a courageous battle with Brain Cancer. Wendy’s transition was peaceful and beautiful and she passed surrounded by the love of her two daughter and the “Hospice Angels”. Wendy is survived by her children Tasia Olafson, Sage Kemp and three wonderful grandchildren Tanner, Jasper and Kona. Wendy was predeased by her Father Bill Sinclair-Thomson and Mother Hilda Sinclair-Thomson the original owners of Beaver Lake Lodge. There will be a Celebration of Wendy’s Life on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the St. Paul United Church on Lakeshore Road. Tasia and Sage wish to thank Dr. Mohamed, Dr. Mace, the staff at the Southern Interior BC Cancer Agency, the Hospice Doctors, Hospice Volunteers and a very special thanks to all of “Wendy’s angels” the Hospice nurses. The family asks in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in Wendy’s name for Cancer Research or to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association.  Wendy will always be remembered for her inner light, kindness to others and her long brown beautiful hair.
