Don’t hand city plan to one developer

To the editor:

Re: Downtown redevelopment plan.

Many of us agree with letters regarding city council’s decision that to begin to rewrite the downtown plan must come before West Corp’s proposed four-block of multi-high rise towers.

Public—you must contact your representative on city council and speak out.

You know what happened to The Mission Creek Greenway and The Mission Aquatic Pool Centre Project.

Kelowna’s beautiful city water front is liable to be totally ruined with West Corp in the picture.

Why is the city in such a hurry to deliver the downtown vision to a developer?

We must no let city council take us for granted.

Let’s all wake up here in Kelowna and really smell the coffee.

L.A. Todd,

Kelowna
