Unbridled development is ruining Kelowna

To the editor:

The letter to the editor Oct. 31, titled City Is Losing Ground To The Rich, by Wayne Harris, is right on. I’m with you Wayne Harris, what is happening to this city is a disgrace.

I was all for a change and was promoting Mayor Sharon Shepherd thinking she would stop this greed and ruin of our city. Not any more.

This city in a very short order is going to be like all the other cities.

Pollution, too many vehicles and hundreds more to come, and the sucking of the lake dry are our present and future.

I am surprised that the wineries are not protesting.

Who wants to go to another polluted, over-crowded city to visit wineries.

Where is the fore site and vision of our representatives?

Stop ruining our City of Kelowna.

Ann Huculak,

Kelowna
