Letter: Post office works in cumbersome ways

No wonder the rank and file can’t negotiate a contract.

To the editor:

So our mailbox on the street was broken into and is now scrap. We are to get a new one in two or three weeks.

The postal authorities now require us to pick up our mail at the main office in the north end of Kelowna. Mail can only be picked up for four hours during midday.

Considering we live above the Mission would it not be more logical to pick up mail at the Gordon Drive office?

One wonders about the competency of postal management when decisions of this nature are made. No wonder the rank and file can’t negotiate a contract.
