Letter: What did we pay to clean up pee?

"A biohazard cleaning company was called…” Someone should be fired over this.

To the editor:

On page 6 of the Friday April 5 Capital News, under the heading Half-Naked Man Detained After Urinating on Police Detachment, in the fifth paragraph it is stated that “A biohazard cleaning company was called…”

Someone should be fired over this. I am pretty certain that, if you are concerned over some urine on the doorstep, you could just fill a bucket with water and pour it over the affected area.

A “biohazard company?” I am willing to bet that cost the taxpayers several hundred dollars, and who was it that thought that was necessary?

Signed: A thoroughly disgusted taxpayer.
