City congratulated for effort made on Central Green

To the editor:

Kelowna South Central Association of Neighbourhoods (KSAN) would like to present a bouquet to the City of Kelowna for the excellent public process surrounding the creation of the Central Green project.

For the past four years the city has worked with neighbours, stakeholders and members of the public to create consensus for the plan. At the public hearing Tuesday, May 3, nobody was there to oppose the rezoning because there is widespread support.

The process followed by the city to create this plan should be a template for future developments—it really worked!

Bravo and thank you.

Debby Helf,

Kelowna
