Letter: Put West Kelowna city hall on health centre site

Re: Letter April 2, by John D. Grant: Use Health Centre Site for Municipal Hall.

Mr. Grant has expressed probably the best idea for a possible location for West Kelowna’s municipal offices; the land earmarked for a medical facility which may never actually be used for this purpose. Thank you John for putting this idea out there for people to mull over.

In my opinion this site would be very suitable for our eventual municipal offices as it is in the most densely populated area of our new municipality, would be easily accessible and fits into the long-term plan of revitalizing our only downtown location with a vision to creating a town centre we can be proud of.

I hope this will be given serious consideration by our planners.
