Letters to the Editor

Letter: Thanks Parkinsons volunteers

To the editor:

We want to thank the Landmark Centre management for once again displaying our big red lighted tulip to shine from the top of Landmark Tower 2 at 1708 Dolphin Ave., in Kelowna, during most of April.

The red tulip is the Parkinson Society’s symbol to bring awareness and hope to the 11,000 individual persons living with this chronic disease in British Columbia.

Our theme is You Are Not Alone.

Once a year, in September, we hold our annual Superwalk to raise funds for critical research and provide other help and hope.

During the recent National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we want to thank all those who help in any way to give to others.

For further information visit www.parkinson.bc.ca.

See you in September at the Superwalk.

Beryl Baldeo,

on behalf of Partner’s in Parkinson,

Kelowna
