Door to door mail service already limited

Re: Local postal union objects to service cuts, March 11, 2014.

Door to door service is expensive.

And all businesses and householders did not have door to door mail service which was unfair to some Canadians.

I think Canada Post could continue this service by assessing an extra fee for anyone wanting door to door mail service.

Also, I think general postage stamps should be increased to at least $1 and junk mail postage service costs should be doubled.

Mailing costs in Canada are cheap when you compare mailings costs to other countries like in Mexico, where mail service is barely available and a postage stamp from Chihuahua, Mexico to USA cost me $18 per letter.

Let's keep most of our existing postal service available in Canada.

Kelowna
