OKM leads its league

The Okanagan Mission junior boys basketball team pushed its league record to 5-0 this week, riding a balanced attack to a 77-36 victory over the Constable Neil Bruce junior boys basketball team.

After a slow start, the Huskies fast break pushed them to a 44-13 lead. OKM were led by Evan Yarrows with 16 points. Yarrows was one of five Huskies in double figures.

Andrew Stevenson followed with 15 points with Kevin Lee and Mckenzie Rigg scoring 12 each. James Koss and Quintin Torrenson were also strong contributors on the defensive end. The OKM Huskies are back in action this weekend at the Vernon Icebreaker Tournament.
