Scott shares lead at B.C. women's curling championship
Five-time champion Kelly Scott is tied for the lead heading into Thursday's action at the B.C. women's curling championship in Cloverdale.
With a 5-1 record, the Kelowna rink shares top spot in the standings with Patti Knezevic of Prince George.
Scott will face Knezevic in the day's first draw, then will take on Cloverdale's Marla Mallett on Thursday night.
Scott, third Jeanna Schraeder, second Sasha Carter and lead Sarah Wazney rolled to a 5-0 start at provincials, before dropping a 9-7 decision to Allison MacInnnes of Kamloops on Wednesday night.
The Scott team has won five B.C. women's titles, including the last three in a row.
Scott has also won two Canadian championships and one world women's curling title.
The provincial final, scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, will be broadcast live on Shaw T.V.
