Highlights: Vancouver Canucks 5, Calgary Flames 4 (OT)

It could have gone better, but a win's a win and the Canucks will take every one of them.

When it became obvious this Calgary Flames team was nothing like the tipped-over, clumsy Cowtown crew they were advertised to be at season's opening, Vancouver looked to the scoreboard to discover they were down 3-1 with 18 minutes to go in the third. That's when the comeback started, courtesy of goals from Jannik Hansen, Mike Santorelli, and Dale Weise. Calgary tied it up to end the third, and Santorelli added his second of the game – a tip-in in four-on-four overtime off a pass from Kevin Bieksa – to hand the whales the win.

Up next for the Canucks: old teammate Cory Schneider and the New Jersey Devils come to Rogers Arena on Tuesday. After two games, the Devils are 0-1-1 and face the Edmonton Oilers – in Alberta – on Monday before catching another flight further west to face Vancouver.
