OKM Huskies to defend valley soccer title

The Okanagan Mission Huskies look to defend their Okanagan AA boys high school soccer title this weekend in Kelowna.

The valley championship kicks off Friday morning, with games at Kettle Valley and The Quarry in the Mission.

The Huskies will take on Valleyview in the opening game at 10 a.m. at the Quarry.

The top two teams in the six-team event will meet in Saturday's championship final at The Quarry. Because the Okanagan has two berths at provincials, both finalists will advance to the B.C. championship.

The Huskies, who posted on overall record of 28-0 last season, are the defending B.C. champs.
