Still time to volunteer for Kelowna Apple Triathlon this weekend

Triathletes of all ages and competitive levels are converging on Kelowna this weekend for the 32nd Annual Pushor Mitchell Kelowna Apple Triathlon.

Organizers say they still need truck drivers on Sunday and bike, run and transition volunteers for Saturday & Sunday.

Sign up online at www.appletriathlon.com or call the Kelowna Apple Triathlon Society (KATS) office at (250) 763-5287 to register as a volunteer.

Events begin on Friday night with an aquathon, fun run and the Kelowna Apple open water swim. Saturday races will include Kids of Steel, Try a Tri for newbies to the sport as well as junior elite races while Sunday will see the elite male and female races taking part.
