A pair of third-period goals, 38 seconds apart, boosted the Kelowna Rockets to a come-from-behind 4-3 win over the hometown Victoria Royals Wednesday night in WHL action.

With the Rockets trailing 3-2 at the Save on Foods Memorial Centre, Cal Foote tied the game at 14:36 with his fourth goal of the season.

Calvin Thurkauf's 18th goal of the season at 15:14 proved to be the game winner, in the first of two games this week between the B.C. Division rivals.

Dillon Dube, who was named game's first star, has a goal and an assist for the Rockets, while Tomas Soustal, with his 15th of the season, had Kelowna's other goal.

Kole Lind, the Rockets' leading scorer, picked up three assists.

In the first game since the WHL's trade deadline, forward Reid Gardiner had an assist and now has two points in his first two games as a Rocket.

Forward Carsen Twarynski made his debut for the Rockets after being acquired Sunday from the Calgary Hitmen.

The Rockets (25-15-3-0)  and Royals (22-17-4-0) will meet again Friday night in Victoria.
