Rockets home streak hits 17 with 6-3 win over Tri-City

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Tri-City Americans 6-3 on Friday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, winning its 17th straight home game and its eighth straight game overall.

Dylen McKinley led the way offensively with two goals and two assists as the Rockets erased an early 2-0 deficit to come from behind and preserve its unbeaten streak, which is now just one win shy of the Kelowna Rockets' record.

Riley Stadel, Rourke Chartier, Ryan Olsen and Madison Bowey also scored for the Rockets, who outshot Tri-City 30-29

Jordon Cooke was solid in net, earning his 15th straight win as the Rockets improved to 31-10-1-1 on the season.

Kelowna is back in action on Saturday night as the team will travel to Vancouver to take on the Giants.

The Rockets return to Prospera Place on Wednesday when they host the Spokane Chiefs.
