An upper body injury will prevent Colton Sissons from pursuing his dream of playing for Canada's national junior men's hockey squad.
Hockey Canada announced Friday the Kelowna Rockets captain has been dropped from the 37-player roster for the Canadian junior team's selection camp, Dec. 11 to 13 in Calgary.
Sissons was injured Friday, Nov. 30 at Prospera Place against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
The 6-foot-1, 192-pound North Vancouver native has missed the WHL club's last two games against Seattle and Swift Current.
