The West Kelowna Warriors' roster will be fortified by the addition of three players for Friday's game at Royal LePage Place against the Penticton Vees.
Defenceman Scott Allan and forward Matthew Campese have joined the Warriors after being released by their respective WHL teams, while forward Braiden Epp comes to West Kelowna in a trade with the Prince George Spruce Kings.
Allan, 20, who played last season with the Warriors returns after being released by the WHL's Calgary Hitmen.
“Scott Allan was a huge part in our playoff run last year,” said Warriors head coach and general manager Rylan Ferster. “He is a big presence on the ice and was very good in a shut down role last year.”
Campese, 18, a veteran of 95 WHL games with Victoria and Kamloops, was assigned to the Warriors by the Blazers this this week.
“Matt Campese is a player with a great shot and can score goals,” said Ferster. “To be able to add a player like this should help out our offence.”
The defending RBC Cup champs acquired Epp, 20, this week from the Spruce Kings in exchange for 20-year-old defenseman Tyler Anderson.
Epp has 41 goals and 80 points over parts of three seasons in the BCHL.
All three players are excepted to make their season debut Friday against the Vees (5-1-0).
Face off at Royal LePage Place is 7 p.m.
