District and Westbank First Nation to host annual volunteer community clean-up event this weekend.

The District of West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation will host the sixth annual Volunteer Community Clean-Up this Saturday, June 6.

Volunteers will be roaming the streets in West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation clearing litter and debris from roadsides in an effort to make our communities even more beautiful. Last year, 100 volunteers participated and more are expected this year.

Volunteers are treated to a BBQ lunch at the Lions Hall after the clean-up.

Motorists and cyclists are asked to please use extra caution on the roads between 8:30 am and non on Saturday.
