The YMCA’s annual Cycle for Strong Kids returns to Kelowna on June 2.
The event is bigger than ever and has moved to Stuart Park to accommodate the growth.
“We are thrilled to welcome more of our community to join this fun and impactful event,” said Tammie Watson, VP of philanthropy at the YMCA of Southern Interior BC. “Our charity relies heavily on this fundraiser to ensure preventive child and youth programs — including services for mental health and drop-out prevention — remain free to those most vulnerable.”
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be four pre-registered cycle classes, barbecue lunch, a kid’s zone, and more.
All funds raised at the event will support low-income kids and at-risk youth in the community.
