The ALS Canada Cycle of Hope ride will take place this Sunday, in Kelowna.
Approximately 100 participants will ride around the city in order to raise funds and awareness for families living with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Groves Avenue from Tutt Street to Pandosy Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. to accommodate the event’s start and finish lines and celebration zone.
Participants will ride along Lakeshore Drive and throughout South and South-East Kelowna.
Motorists are asked to be cautious of the cyclists on the roads while driving through these areas and to plan their trip accordingly.
