House of Rose Winery stages light show

Free and family friendly, this holiday wonderland continues Wednesdays through Saturdays from 5 to 8 p.m. until Jan. 3.

Dancing elves, Santa and reindeer, a nativity scene and a 20-foot high rose decked out for the season are just a few of the displays you’ll see at House of Rose Winery’s second annual Christmas Light-Up.

Free and family friendly, this holiday wonderland starts today and will continue on Wednesday through Saturday each week from 5 to 8 p.m. until Jan. 3.

“Kids can play in the snow, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and sing along to the Christmas music,” said  Aura Rose, the winery co-owner and winemaker.

“It’s set up as a walkable area so the whole family can enjoy being in a magical rural setting, minutes from home.”

The wine shop will have hot chocolate and mulled wine for sale when the lights are on, with all proceeds to the Kelowna Community Food Bank.
