Join the Central Okanagan Hospice Assocoation at the Kelowna Hospice House for a special tree lighting ceremony at the Shining Tree of Memories event Dec. 3 at 4 p.m.

All ages are welcome from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to enjoy holiday treats, warm drinks and caroling. Participants may purchase a light in memory of someone special for $25 or three for $60 by contacting COHA by phone at 250-763-5511 or online at www.hospicecoha.org.

The Hospice House is at 2035 Ethel St., Kelowna.

The Kelowna and District Genealogical Society will hold their regular monthly meeting on Dec. 4, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Drive in the Fellowship Room. Visitors are welcome. For more information call Marie at 250-763-7159.

St. Paul’s United Church presents a night of Christmas music with performances by the St. Paul’s Choir, Men’s Chorus, Gospel Praise and SongShine Singers, all directed by Sylvia Clerke.

Come join us as we celebrate the joy of Christmas with some of your favourite carols and Joel Raney’s lively gospel cantata Joy. Joy! A Gospel Christmas Celebration takes place Dec. 8 7 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1130 Springfield Road in Kelowna.
