When it comes to shopping local, markets offer an array of area artisans, entrepreneurs and farmers.

The Vernon Farmers’ Market has already taken root at Kal Tire Place, setting up in the lower parking lot Mondays and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Running from April to October, the farmer’s market has grown from a handful of vendors in 1979, to its 45th year supporting more than 100 growers and crafters.

And now the Polson Artisan Night Market is opening for its fourth season on Friday, May 17, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Polson Park.

The Polson Market has become a hallmark event in the community, showcasing the talent and creativity of over 50 local artisans every Friday night.

Running from May long to mid September, this season promises even more unique handmade crafts, artworks, jewelry and other treasures that reflect the diverse and vibrant arts scene in Vernon.

In addition to the artisan market, visitors can indulge their taste buds with an array of offerings from carefully curated food trucks.

From savory street food to irresistible sweet treats, there’s something to satisfy every craving.

The night market comes alive with captivating live music performances, creating a festive and inviting atmosphere for attendees of all ages to enjoy.
