The Penticton Tune-Agers choir and orchestra have begun their rehearsals for the season.

The orchestra holds rehearsals Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Oasis United Church, 2964 Skaha Lake Rd. while the choir practices Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Blue Church, formerly Penticton United Church, 696 Main St. Those attending should come in using the chapel door.

The Penticton Tune-Agers are under the direction of Kelsey Zachary.

Those interested in joining are asked to come to a rehearsal to check out the musical ensemble. There is a need for those who play and instrument and for those who sing tenor or bass.

The Tune-Agers are a community choir and orchestra with more than 50 singers and musicians.

The musical ensemble was formed in 1970 and has had numerous members and directors over the years. Zachary has been the director since September 2023. The group holds concerts each year in December and in spring.
