The Community Living Society is holding their annual Kid’s Christmas Bike Sale this week.

Just in time for gift giving, the Penticton and District Society for Community Living is holding their second annual Christmas Kid’s Bike Sale.

From Dec. 11 to Dec. 15, the PDSCL is putting all their kids’ bikes on sale for 50 per cent off, with prices starting as low as $10. The sale, which runs from Monday to Friday 8:30am till 3:30pm, was designed to help low-income families afford kid’s bikes in time for Christmas.

There are over 70 bikes to choose from at 180 Industrial Ave. West and everything from toddlers trikes to youth bikes available. As well as the sale, there is also a free raffle in which you could win a kid’s bike in time for Christmas.

Unclaimed lost bikes are refurbished at the PDSCL bike shop, who employ those with disabilities to get the bikes shipshape. Proceeds from the sales directly support the PDSCL, who have been serving people with disabilities and their families in the community since 1958.
