The Central Okanagan Foundation is requesting the public’s input at community meetings as part of the association’s annual Vital Signs program, which is a “check-up” conducted by community foundations across the country to learn about important trends and factors influencing the health of a community.
The public is encouraged to attend one of the following two sessions: Tuesday, May 31, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., or Wednesday, June 1, 4 to 5:30 p.m., at Okanagan College campus lecture theatre.
COF staff, the bard and other community leaders will be at the meetings to explain the Vital Signs program, share information that illustrates current trends and life in the Central Okanagan and ask for participation in the research that will assist with the production of the 2011 Vital Signs Report.
The public is invited to attend one of these free meetings. For more information about Vital Signs, call the Central Okanagan Foundation at 250-861-6160.
