Christy Clark just released a budget that she hopes will make you forget everything that has happened in the 16 years since the B.C. Liberals took power.
Her “forget everything” budget can’t erase years of neglecting you, your family and your community.
She wants you to forget that she took an extra $300,000 from her wealthy donors, while wages for everyday people failed to keep up with rising costs.
Christy Clark wants you to forget that she gave her donors and people at the top a billion dollars in tax breaks, while charging the average family $1,000 more for electricity, car insurance and health care premiums.
Christy Clark wants you to forget that her pre-election promise to cut MSP still leaves you paying more than you were before the Liberals took power. Medical services premiums have doubled under the B.C. Liberals.
Christy Clark’s “forget everything” budget won’t work this election. The Liberals turn in power is over. It is time finally for the NDP.
