Don Draper cleans up for the Season 7 premiere of Mad Men

VIDEO: What’s new on Netflix this April?

Mad Men's final season, Marvel's new Daredevil series, and Oscar contender Boyhood are available on Netflix in Canada, starting today.

“Are you ready? Because I want you to pay attention.”

That’s the opening line from Season 7 of Mad Men – the series which concluded its first half last year, and will wrap for good after nearly a decade on AMC sometime in 2015 – and it could aptly double as an intro to this article. Or an intro to anything, really.

It’s delivered by Freddy Rumsen, a recovering alcoholic and an occasionally successful ad man. But the lyrics were written by Don Draper, who’s been forced to float in the background and proxy his still-fermenting genius through the mouths of freelancers. He has to divide his packages into envelopes and sneak them under the doors of his old castle, into the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Price – or whatever it’s called now, after more buyouts and mergers and coups.

And it’s the first thing you’ll see if you click ‘Play’ right now, as Netflix has added Season 7 to its Canadian catalogue. That and a whole host of other options, listed below by The Canadian Press’s graphics team.

They’ve also listed the best new offerings from Crave TV and Shomi, if you’ve subscribed to those, too…
