Rad Relish in West Kelowna is a recipient of an award in the Indigenous Business Awards 2024.

A West Kelowna business has been named Business of the Year (one to two-person enterprise) under the Indigenous Business Awards presented by the BC Achievement Foundation.

Rad Relish is proudly Metis and owned by Kyla King and Garrett Millsap.

The recipes are inspired by Metis Elder Peggy Millsap and Garrett's grandmother.

Products are made with locally grown produce and are said to be a great addition to your next barbecue or charcuterie board.

Rad Relish will receive the award at a gala on Oct. 7.

“This year’s IBA recipients demonstrate remarkable entrepreneurship and show an unyielding commitment to driving economic growth and fostering community well-being,” Walter Pela, chair of the BC Achievement Foundation, said. “Their accomplishments serve as a powerful reminder of the significant impact Indigenous businesses have in shaping a prosperous and inclusive future for all British Columbians.”
