The city also managed several multi-year grants in 2023, which combined with 22 already awarded, brought the total value to $129 million.

The multi-year grants supported new infrastructure in the city including upgrades to Pandosy Waterfront Park, a play structure for Strathcona Beach, and the YMCA ChildCare Centre at Kelowna International Airport.

A staff report says the city will continue to pursue grant opportunities in 2024 that align with council priorities and the

10-Year Capital Plan.
