Emergency crews are on scene at Bernard Avenue for a possible structure fire, on Friday afternoon.
Bernard is blocked from Richter to Ethel Street due to the incident.
The fire was reported at about 5:15 p.m. for smoke coming from an apartment building on Bernard. The building was evacuated.
According to witnesses, one person was seen being placed on a stretcher and placed in the care of BC Ambulance. It’s unclear the extent of the injuries.
There are multiple emergency crews on scene, public is advised to stay away from the area.
