Grizzli Winery is hosting an event to support a young West Kelowna girl with severe cerebral palsy.
Mia’s Ride will raise funds for a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for eight-year-old Mia Kuypers and her family.
The event at Grizzli Winery (2550 Boucherie Road) will feature live music, art, and magic, with more than 50 auction and raffle items up for grabs.
Highlights Include:
- Live sculpting and painting;
- Silent auction featuring bicycles, artworks, massage treatments, acupuncture sessions, helicopter tours, wine tours and tastings, concert tickets, and more”
- Raffle prizes including a three-night staycation in a four-bedroom home with a pool;
- Tickets to see country artists Clint Black an Jordan Davis in concert;
- Artwork, wine tours and tastings, and other prizes.
Attendees can enjoy appetizers and award-winning wines.
A Kid Zone includes magic tricks, snacks, a movie on the big screen, and a visit from a surprise guest. Childminding will be provided.
Mia’s Ride is Sat. Mar. 9 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 for general admission (includes a welcome glass of wine and appetizer), and $7 for children 12 and under.
