On Sunday, May 19, gear up for a ride like no other as Kelowna joins the global Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR).
It’s a journey aimed at raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
Bringing together classic and vintage motorcycle enthusiasts in dapper attire, Kelowna riders will support the Movember Foundation.
The day starts at 9 a.m. at M&M Performance Triumph (849 McCurdy Pl). At 10 a.m. engines will roar to life as the stylish procession sets off through city streets.
After cruising in camaraderie, the ride finishes at 12 p.m. back at M&M Performance with the Classic Motorcycle DGR Show & Party.
This year, Kelowna joins 121 countries participating in the ride and 31 cities across Canada.
The event has raised over $2 million, funding nine critical men’s health projects in Canada.
The DGR started in Australia in 2012 and partnered with the Movember Foundation in 2016.
