The Kelowna Professional Firefighters Association (KPFA) is throwing its support behind a candidate seeking the BC United nomination in the new Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream riding.
“The Kelowna Professional Firefighters Association would like to give a shout-out to a very good friend of our association, Mr. Pavneet Singh,” reads a post on the KPFA Instagram account.
“He is a businessman in the Kelowna area and has supported our charitable society with sponsorship as well as supporting our firefighters with food during the wildfire season, as well as any in the community who needed a meal.”
The post says the KPFA is pleased that Singh is seeking the nomination.
He is vying with three other candidates to become the nominee.
Current BC United MLA for Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream, Norm Letnick, is not seeking re-election.
