Local dealership ‘revving engines for our heroes’ with car show in Kelowna

All proceeds raised will go to Central Okanagan Firefighters’ Charities
Charity event on Oct. 1.

August Motorcars in Kelowna is revving their engines for local first responders.

The car dealership is hosting a car show called ‘Revving Engines for our Heroes’ on Sunday, Oct. 1, with all money raised going to Central Okanagan Firefighters’ Charities to assist first responders and families impacted by the Grouse Complex of wildfires that hit the Central Okanagan.

“During difficult times our amazing community proves again and again how strong we are together,” August Motorcars said in their release. “Let’s come together to support the families who fought for us.”

On top of sensational vehicles, food trucks and other activities will also be on site.

It is $100 for anyone interested in registering a vehicle in the car show.

For anyone wanting to attend the show, admission is a $10 donation or $30 for a family of four. Tickets will also be available at the gate.

The event is taking place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at August Luxury Motorcars dealership located at 3510 Spectrum Court.
