Plans to build three high-rise towers in the parking lot of Prospera Place Arena have resurfaced.

ICR Projects Inc. submitted the application to the city on Sep. 8, on behalf of property owner GSL Group, which also owns the arena.

The revised documents show building heights of 13, 22 and 26 storeys for the proposed retail/residential project.

Current zoning for the area allows 12 storeys.

The documents propose a total of 457 units and 531 parking stalls.

An additional 95 stalls are included for use by participants attending events at Prospera Place on the project’s ground floor.

Parking rates during events would be agreed upon between the city and the developer.

Plans to build on the arena parking first came to light several years ago.
