UPDATE: Boat passengers safe in Kelowna water rescue

The rescue involved two adults and two children

Update 2:50 p.m.

Kelowna fire crews were able to reach a boat with distressed passengers in the area of Paul’s Tomb.

All four passengers are safe.

Original 2:30 p.m.

The Kelowna Fire Department has been dispatched to the area of Paul’s Tomb for a water rescue.

Few details are known at this time, but the rescue involves a couple and two young children.

Kelowna RCMP are also heading to the scene.

The story will be updated when more information is available.
