Big White Ski Resort is having a great Christmas holiday snow wise.
The resort received 20 centimetres of new snow in the last 24 hours, bringing its alpine base to 147 centimetres.
Yesterday Big White was able to open its Gem Lake lift, opening up more runs on the mountain.

There are a couple of events coming up this week at Big White:
Cruz the Blues will take place December 28 and 29. See if you can ski all the blue runs and explore Big White during this family favourite event.
On December 31, Big White will host the TELUS Viewing Party of the Canada vs. USA World Juniors Men’s Hockey Game. The game will be broadcast from 12:30 p. .on a big screen in the Village, as well as in Happy Valley Day Lodge, Westridge Warming Hut and the Village Centre Mall.
