The city has re-opened the trail at Brandt Creek Linear Park after closing a portion of it temporarily last week due to flooding in the area.
The portion of the trail between Yates Road and Kane Road was closed following a mixture of heavy spring run-off in the creek and heavy rain at the same time.
Complicating matters is the fact Brandt Creek serves as a water detention facility and, as such, is regularly subject to periodic flooding.
With some rain in the forecast this week, park users are being advised to continue using caution on trails along the creek banks.
