Customers of the Killiney Beach water system will notice some construction activity over the next month.
From Oct. 1 to 31, crews will be installing a new water main along approximately 300 metres of Westside Road and Hodges Road near the intersection.
Construction will result in some temporary traffic delays, possible noise and dust.
Motorists are asked to follow the direction of traffic control personnel and signage in the area.
When complete, affected property owners between the middle and lower pressure zones will notice improved water pressure.
The work is being funded in part with a grant from the BC Towns for Tomorrow program.
The Regional District of the Central Okanagan thanks customers for their cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenient caused by the work.
